A semi-prominent YouTube personality is now behind bars after a high-speed police pursuit on March 6.

The 18-year-old Detroit, Michigan native, Nathaneil “Nathan” Narra, was traveling along Interstate 30 going west near Sulphur Springs. He was clocked by a deputy as traveling at a speed over 90 miles per hour.

Narra decided to try to out-run the deputy who was trying to pull him over. He exited the interstate at Texas State Highway 50 going toward Commerce. Deputies then notified Commerce Police of the high-speed chase that was approaching.

Before reaching Commerce, Narra tried to turn his car around to travel back toward Interstate 30 but his silver Camaro hit another vehicle. After the collision, he was only able to drive south on Texas State Highway 50 for a few more miles before the tire failed on him.

With no more options, Narra surrendered himself to the approaching police.

A dive into Narra’s social media platforms will give some insight into the mindset of the 18-year-old. He posted on Instagram in 2018 about another car accident he had been involved in. He showed a picture of the totaled car with the caution tape still wrapped around it.

According to his posts, he likes to brag about how he is only 18 and owns a Camaro and a Jaguar. Narra also has videos of his mother co-signing the agreement for him to secure the Camaro that he just wrecked.

A judge set a bond for Narra in the amount of $15,000 on Saturday. He is being charged with felony evading arrest with a vehicle and also being fined $2,500 for reckless driving.

There was no information released about the car or the driver that Narra hit during the pursuit.
