A teenage driver who caused an accident in Spokane Valley, Washington that left her and three others hospitalized would need to hire a drunk driving attorney. Ximena Delgado, 18, was under the influence when the crash occurred on Monday morning, May 18th.
The Washington State Patrol said that the teenager was behind the wheel of the vehicle involved in the solo accident. Delgado was heading east on Interstate 90 when her car hit a barrier near the Evergreen exit and went through a chain-link fence. The vehicle kept going until it rested near Nora.

None of the occupants of the car was wearing a seatbelt. The teenage driver and her three passengers sustained different degrees of injuries. One person reportedly suffered a fractured skull, while another’s hand lost feelings.
The authorities identified the passengers as Anthony Burden, 18, of Ellensburg, Takarah Duncan, 20, of Spokane, and Isaiah Hutton, 19, of Spokane Valley. The medics transported Delgado and the trio to Sacred Heart for treatment.
The WSP determined that the teenager was intoxicated at the time of the crash. They charged her with vehicular assault. There is no additional information at this time.
According to the Center for Disease Control, any amount of alcohol use by teenagers increases their chance of motor vehicle accidents than older drivers. Although the legal age for alcohol consumption is 21, most drivers between the ages of 16 and 19 still drink and drive.
The center advises teenagers to avoid drinking and driving and ensure their BAC at all times is below .08%. Those who drink, drive, and have an accident should contact a drunk driving attorney to represent their interest.
