SAN DIEGO, CA – Witnesses of a fiery crash on I-15 near Friars Rd risked their lives to save a man inside a burning car early Thursday morning, reports Fox 5.
The initial crash happened around 5:30. Sean Dolan was on his way to work and saw a wrecked car with an unconscious driver inside.

Dolan stopped and had his passenger call 911 as he attempted to slow traffic. It was then that another vehicle struck the one with the unconscious driver, igniting it in the process.
Dolan and another witness worked to get the unconscious driver out of the car. They managed to pull the driver out of the window a minute before the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames.
Details around the incident, such as the number of injuries and their severity, are unclear at this time.
