22-year-old Katherine Francis was severely hurt in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, February 4 in Spokane, Washington. Spokane law enforcement reported that at approximately 10:43 a.m. local time, Ms. Francis’s 2016 four-door sedan was struck by 19-year-old Mason Azure-Beck, who was driving a 2004 pickup truck. The accident happened at the intersection of North Crestline Avenue and East Wellesley Avenue when the pickup driver reportedly fell asleep while driving and wound up slamming into Ms. Francis’s car, law enforcement said.
Medics got to the scene and took the victim to a local hospital where she is being treated for severe injuries, law enforcement added.
