An elderly gentleman was sadly injured in a three-vehicle crash in Spokane Valley on Tuesday.
80-year-old Dennis Pollock sustained severe injuries in a horrific three-vehicle crash on Tuesday, February 4 in Spokane Valley. Law enforcement in Spokane Valley confirmed that at approximately 4:12 p.m. local time, Mr. Pollock had been operating a 2004 pickup truck as it was hit by 73-year-old Geral Cerenzia. The crash occurred at the intersection of East Trent Avenue and North Lillian Road when, law enforcement said, Cerenzia reportedly failed to yield to Mr. Pollock’s pickup.

Paramedics got to the scene of the accident and quickly took the victim to a local medical center where he is receiving treatment for severe injuries, law enforcement added.
SEVERE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION
Spokane city law enforcement personnel are digging deeper into the details of the accident and will attempt to discover what led to the crash. Officials will release a police report once the investigation is completed and Gerald Cerenzia, who failed to yield the right of way to another driver, seems to be negligent and may be ticketed or charged.
