A traffic accident on Highway 371 in the Aguanga area of Riverside County, California, claimed one life on Saturday, August 15th. The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the fatal victim as Cristian Barraza, a 27-year-old Palm Desert resident.
The car accident report showed that the afternoon incident occurred near Barbara Trail. The Riverside County Fire Department said that a call came in about the occurrence around 1:43 p.m. When firefighters and medics arrived at the scene, they found that two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.

They found three people on the roadway, also known as Cahuilla Road, including Barraza, whom they pronounced dead. The county officials did not release the name of the other two, and they also failed to mention the extent of their injuries.
The collision led to the closure of the affected roadway while the fire crew cleared the wreck and gathered evidence. The investigation to determine the cause is ongoing.
