FRESNO, CA – Police say two people were rushed to the hospital for treatment of critical injuries after a collision in central Fresno on Monday.
According to Your Central Valley, the crash happened on East Clinton Avenue near the intersection with North Van Ness Boulevard, when an eastbound van slammed into a Mini Cooper.

When police arrived, they found that a pedestrian was also involved and trapped beneath the vehicles.
The Mini Cooper driver and the pedestrian suffered critical injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.
Witnesses helped police identify the van’s driver, who was then arrested.
At this time, it is unclear if alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
