NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA – Two people are dead and three others are injured following a high-speed collision in North Hollywood on Saturday night.
According to ABC 7, the crash occurred on Vineland Avenue just north of the Oxnard St intersection shortly before 6:30 p.m.

Police say a southbound 2005 Saturn Ion was traveling at a high speed when its driver lost control and careened across the northbound lanes. The sedan then struck a parked car and a pedestrian in front of the Vineland Wine Cellar liquor store.
A passenger in the Ion and the pedestrian, a 36-year-old man, were declared deceased at the scene.
Three others, including two motorists in the parked car, sustained injuries and were extricated from their vehicles.
