WHITTIER, CA – A girl was struck by a truck while crossing the street in Whittier, reports On Scene Tv
First responders were dispatched to the intersection of Penn St and Pickering Ave around 5:15 after receiving reports of an accident involving a pedestrian.

Authorities discovered that the girl was struck in a crosswalk by a pickup truck as it was turning from Penn St onto Pickering Ave.
The collision launched the girl airborne. Once she landed, she was then ran over by the truck.
Paramedics was hospitalized at an area trauma center in critical condition. Her current condition is not known at this time.
