A vehicle-versus-pedestrian accident isn’t uncommon in Washington and the United States. When a car strikes a human body, it leaves it with traumatic injuries to the head, upper, and lower body. The injuries begin from when the body connects with the vehicle until it hits the pavement.
Most accident reports show that the injuries are either fatal or life-altering. Some of the wounds include concussion, intracranial bleeding, fractures, broken bones, organ damage, and internal bleeding.
Traffic officials advice that drivers should give pedestrians the right of way and drive within the speed limit to prevent vehicle-versus-pedestrian accidents.
