Authorities, on Friday, May 22, identified the pilot that died after his plane crashed in Orcutt, Santa Barbara County, California. According to accident reports, the victim’s name is Tigran Garabedyan, a 38-year-old man.
The plane crash occurred on Wednesday, May 20, at about 10:45 AM at Ralph Dunlap Elementary School. Garabedyan was flying in a single-engine Cirrus SR20 aircraft. He left the Van Nuys Airport and was flying to Santa Maria Airport when the plane crashed into the school’s compound.
