Catalina Esteves, a 17-year-old from Calimesa, was on Tuesday, May 5th, identified as the deceased victim of the fatal crash that occurred in Gilman Springs Road, California. Accident reports state that the crash happened when an SUV turned over just east of Moreno Valley.
Reports from the California Highway Patrol state that the crash happened at about 11 a.m. on Monday, May 4th, at Gilman Springs Road, between Lisa Lane and the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway. It resulted in three people getting injured, with two of them having severe injuries.

Responding to distress calls, the crew of the Riverside County Fire Department rushed to the scene in a few minutes. On getting there, they promptly requested two ambulances.
Some eyewitnesses at the scene were performing CPR on one of the victims in critical condition when the paramedics arrived at the scene. Reports from the Fire Department revealed that the paramedics rushed two of the critically wounded victims to the Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley.
They also took the third victim, who had moderate injuries to the same hospital. According to officials, Esteves later died at the hospital at 11:53 p.m. However, the conditions of the two other patients were not available. Police are continuing with investigations into the cause of the fatal crash.
