A top accident lawyer would be useful for a man whom the police arrested in Thomasville, Georgia after he crashed into a house during a high-speed chase. They took Joshua Crumby, 29, into custody at about midnight on Sunday, May 3rd.
According to Georgia State Patrol Trooper Stephen Kornegay, with the Thomasville Post 12, the suspect was driving a car recklessly. Crumby also ran a red light at Fletcher and Lester streets, and the officer tried to stop him.

The man failed to stop and kept driving at top speed, leading to a chase by state troopers. They pursued the Nissan the suspect was driving for several blocks, stopping after Crumby crashed into a home on Magnolia and Fern Streets.
Louis Schofill, the Thomas County/Thomasville Narcotics/Vice Division Commander, said that the man then fled the scene on foot. A trooper went after him and caught him within a short time. A search of the Nissan led to the discovery of a felony amount of marijuana.
The officers booked Crumby into the Thomas County Jail and charged him with multiple traffic offenses. He is also facing felony marijuana possession and felony fleeing and eluding. A person convicted of the latter faces one to five years in prison.
Schofill used the accident to advise drivers to avoid running away from the police as that alone carries a prison sentence. Those involved in a crash from a police chase should hire a top accident lawyer for legal advice and representation.
