According to the details shared by the authorities, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 15. Weil had a blood alcohol level that was well above the legal limit when he got behind the wheel. He was driving a Ford F-150 at the time. His wife Donna and another woman with her were pedestrians in the area where Teddy was driving the vehicle.

While driving in the area, Teddy crashed into Donna and the pedestrian accompanying her. Donna Weil sustained critical injuries in the collision. She was pronounced dead on the scene of the accident. The other pedestrian also sustained serious injuries but survived. The nature and extent of the injuries of the other pedestrian are not known at this time.
Teddy Weil was charged with two counts of aggravated DUI causing death on Monday, August 17. The Lebanon Police Department arrested him and booked him into the St. Clair County Jail. His bond has been set at $75,000.
