A suspected shooter who crashed into another vehicle in Macon, Georgia, would need to hire auto accident attorneys. The police took Douglas Edwin Ingram, 25, a resident of the city, into custody after a high-speed chase on Thursday morning, May 21st.
The event that led to the chase began in Warner Robins, at 218 Stevens Street. The Warner Robins Police Department said in a press release that at about 8:06 a.m., they dispatched officers to the preceding address after they received calls of a gunshot.

When the lawmen arrived at the scene, they found Derrion Pringle with bullet wounds in his stomach and leg and sent him with medics to Medical Center, Navicent Health for treatment. They described Ingram as the shooter to other law enforcement agencies and put a bolo out for his 4-door silver Honda Accord.
Officers sighted the car at Northside Drive and Elberta Road, and a pursuit ensued when Ingram failed to pull over. The chase went through Ga. 247, onto Broadway, and through a parking lot on Pio Nono. At this point, the suspect crashed into a Ford Explorer.
WRP Chief John Wagner said that the young man’s speed at the time of the crash was 90 mph. The police arrested Ingram before taking him to Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the Ford went unscathed.
The investigators found two handguns and marijuana in Ingram’s car. They did not release any more information, but the Georgia State Patrol is handling the investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash should contact them or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers on their listed lines.
