An accident early on Tuesday, March 24, has claimed the life of a 32-year-old San Ramon man. The accident occurred along Interstate 680, on the transition ramp that leads to another exit. The area was in the vicinity of Bollinger Canyon Road.
According to the initial reports by the California Highway Patrol, Matthew Pairish lost control of his car, and it ended up rolling near the exit. Police are unsure why Pairish lost control of the vehicle. Based on their observation, the transition ramp is straight, with no curves.

Somehow the man managed to flip the vehicle and go down the embankment.
Pairish was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. His body has been sent for an autopsy. The police are hoping that questions will get answered once the coroner makes their report.
They are unsure if it was a medical episode that cause Pairish to have the accident. They are hoping to find the exact cause of death with the autopsy. They do not know if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the accident.
