An accident report from the area of Santa Clarita, California, revealed that a motorcycle crash left a man dead and a woman injured. The authorities identified the deceased of the Sunday, May 3rd, accident as Leslie S. Trujillo, 64, and the wounded as Kathleen Trujillo.
The accident occurred in the afternoon on the Interstate 14 Freeway, also known as Antelope Valley Freeway. The preliminary investigation into the accident revealed that Leslie was driving a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle south on the roadway, with Kathleen as his passenger.

When the two approached the area near Soledad Canyon Road, the motorcycle struck a dirt embankment. The latter caused Leslie and Kathleen to get ejected from the bike and land on the roadway. The man sustained extensive wounds and passed away at the scene.
Medics with the first responders rushed the passenger, who had severe injuries to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital for treatment. Her condition is unknown at this time. The tragic accident led to a Sigalert at about 12:32 p.m. leading to the closure of the two lanes heading south on the freeway.
The investigators reopened the lanes at about 1:02 p.m. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and there’s no additional information at this time.
