The teenager who crashed his car while driving under the influence in Grass Valley, 50 miles to Sacramento, California, would need the services of a drunk driving attorney. The police on Sunday night, May 3rd, arrested Joshua T. Patton, 19, for the accident that left two injured.
The California Highway Patrol, in its preliminary accident report, said that the accident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. near the Majestic View Court. Patton was heading east on Indian Springs Road in a Nissan 350 car when he veered off the roadway.

Officer Mike Steele of the CHP said that because the teenager was intoxicated, he failed to negotiate a curve in the road efficiently. Patton struck a tree, which resulted in minor injuries for his passengers identified as an 18-year-old male and female.
The medics took the two to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. Steele said the police arrested the suspect without incident and booked him into the county jail. They are holding him on suspicion of driving under the influence, causing bodily injury, and his bond is set at $95 000.
According to the Center for Disease Control, motor vehicle crashes are one of the leading causes of teenage deaths in the United States. Male drivers are more likely to crash their vehicles than females, and it is caused mostly by impaired driving and inexperience.
Teenagers involved in DUI accidents should contact a drunk driving attorney for legal advice and representation.
