A 19-year-old teenager has been identified as the victim of a pedestrian accident on Loma Rica Road in Marysville. Sadie Martin, of Loma Rica, was pushing a 2005 Honda on southbound Loma Rica Road just before 8 p.m. on March 21.
A 2011 Chrysler was driving down the road, southbound on Loma Rica Road, at an unsafe rate of speed when it struck the teen and her car. Based on the report, the Chrysler was driving at least 65 miles per hour down the road.

The 20-year-old man driving the vehicle was not identified, but he did stop after the accident occurred. He cooperated with the officers who responded to the scene.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident and attempted to resuscitate Martin, but unfortunately, they were unable to. She was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The reason the teen was pushing the Honda is not clear at this time, but the accident is currently still under investigation.
