A 24-year-old Oakland man is dead after an accident that occurred around 9:35 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24. The accident happened on Clayton Road near Duncan Drive.
The driver of the vehicle that caused the accident was identified as 25-year-old Miyishia Turner. She had one passenger in the car with her at the time of the accident. The report did not indicate if seatbelts were being worn at the time of the accident.

Turner was driving her car down Duncan Drive when she suddenly veered off the road and hit a parked work truck on the side of the road. Luckily, the truck was empty at the time of the collision.
The name of the man who was killed will be released pending notification of the family. He was identified as the passenger of Turner’s car. The report did not specify if the man was pronounced dead at the scene or if he died at the hospital.
