A suspected DUI crash in the Lake Elsinore area of California left three people injured on Sunday evening, July 19th. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a press release that Ramon Hernandez-Delgado, 59, a city resident, was driving under the influence at the time of the wreck.
The crash took place at the intersection of Riverside Drive and Gunnerson Street. The car accident report showed that Hernandez-Delgado was driving a white Toyota Tundra when he collided head-on with a silver Dodge Ram near where the two roads intersect.

The sheriff’s office said that officers received a call about the two-vehicle collision at about 5:20 p.m. When Riverside County Fire Department officials arrived at the scene, they worked with the paramedics to extricate one person from one of the cars involved in the incident.
The medics attended to the person, Hernandez-Delgado, and one other victim at the scene, and then transported them to a local hospital for further treatment. The police have not released the names of the two other victims. They booked the suspect into the Cois Byrd Detention Center after medical personnel at the hospital cleared him.
