A car injury attorney would be useful to the man arrested for hitting a convenience store employee in Bakersfield, California, with his car. The Bakersfield Police Department and the US Marshals Service apprehended Michael Britt, on Wednesday, April 29th.

The man was in the 800-block of 8th Street at the time of his arrest. The police said that the event that led to Britt’s arrest occurred on Friday, April 10th, at Rite Aid at 1601 23rd Street. Two armed men had entered the store with two duffel bags, which they loaded with merchandise. The employees tried to stop them, but they ran outside into the waiting vehicle. A male employee followed the men out, and as he took down the license plate number of the car, Britt knocked him down intentionally.

The police said that the unnamed staff sustained minor injuries and received treatment. Further investigation linked the suspect to ten other robberies in the city in the last two months. The police did not release how they tracked down Britt, but they have him on charges of theft and assault with a deadly weapon.

The other two men remain unidentified, and the authorities have not released any information about their whereabouts. Anyone with helpful information on the two or the case should call the BPD on its listed line.

Those injured in accidents should hire a car injury attorney for legal advice and representation.
