The name of the man who died in a hit-and-run accident in Dallas, Texas, has been released by the police. They identified him on Tuesday, March 17th, as a 28-year-old male, Alfredo Delgaillo.
The accident that claimed the life of Delgaillo occurred on Saturday, March 14th. The preliminary accident report showed that the deceased was riding his scooter in the 2600-block of Matilda Street at about 8 p.m.

Delgaillo had a female passenger on the scooter, and the unidentified woman sustained minor injuries. The driver of the vehicle that struck the two fled the scene without stopping to help.
The police are actively looking for the driver, and they have released his identity as Enrique Ortiz, 44. He is five-feet-six, weighs a hundred and sixty pounds, and sports dark, close-cropped hair.
The police have asked anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect to contact the Dallas Police Department at the station or its listed landline. A hit-and-run accident is frowned at under Texas traffic laws, and it is considered a criminal offense.
