One of the accident reports from Pittsburg, Texas, tells of the tragic death of two people in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday, May 5th. The authorities identified the victims as Marvin Hopper, 77, and Darlette Nunley, 53, both of Pittsburg.
The Pittsburg Police Department said that Hooper and an unidentified passenger were traveling south on US 271 when the man for unknown reasons crossed into the northbound lanes. The act caused the driver to collide with a vehicle driven by Nunley.

The two motorists sustained severe injuries that claimed their lives at the scene, and the first responders pronounced them dead. The unnamed passenger sustained minor wounds, and the medics took the person to a local hospital for treatment.
The police are keeping the investigation into the accident active and will provide an update at a later time.
