A top accident lawyer would be useful to a young woman detained by the authorities for fleeing the police and crashing a car during a test drive in Pasco, Washington. The Pasco Police Department took Julieta Lopez, 28, into custody on Monday night, May 4th.
The event that led to the suspect’s arrest began at about 11 p.m. on Court Street. An officer with the PPD who witnessed the event said that Lopez, who was driving a blue ’96 Ford Taurus, cut off two oncoming cars carelessly.

One of the drivers had to apply brakes to prevent a collision. The policeman then began chasing the young woman in an attempt to get her to pull over. The pursuit took the driver and the lawman northbound on 18th Avenue, then east on Pearl Street through a residential neighborhood.
The chase ended when Lopez came to a dead-end off Agate Street and rolled the car against a fence. The officer then approached the young woman and detained her as backup arrived at the scene. The police booked her into Franklin County Jail on an investigative hold for attempting to elude.
The authorities also found out that the driver has a revoked license, and she might also face misdemeanor charges. They also investigated to see if Lopez stole the Taurus but the registered owner confirmed that she allowed her to take it for a test drive in the hope of purchasing it.
Those involved in a police chase crash should hire a top accident lawyer for legal advice and representation.
