An 18-year-old woman, Dezare Chanice Noreen Brown, was identified on Wednesday, April 29th, as the victim of a crash on Las Vegas Boulevard, Nevada. According to the accident report, the woman died in the crash.
The accident happened at 10 p.m. on Monday, April 27th, at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Hollywood Boulevard. According to investigations, a 2019 Peterbilt tractor was traveling in the northbound section of Las Vegas Boulevard, and north of Hollywood Boulevard. Brown was also walking along that same lane.

Suddenly, the woman crossed directly in front of the tractor-trailer, and its left front portion struck her. According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the impact of the collision with the tractor caused Brown to land on the southbound travel lane, where a second unidentified car hit her.
The NHP also disclosed that the deceased was outside of a marked crosswalk when she was hit by the tractor. When response officers and medics arrived at the scene, the woman was found lying on the floor and they pronounced her dead.
Meanwhile, the driver of the tractor remained at the scene of the crash and cooperated with the police. He also didn’t show any signs of impairment. The accident report also showed that the driver of the second vehicle left the scene of the crash without stopping.
Investigations into the crash remain ongoing and an update will be made available as soon as officials release it.
