ECHO PARK, CA – Two men were transported to the hospital following a chain-reaction rear-end collision along Sunset Boulevard Saturday night.
According to the Eastsider, the accident occurred when the driver of a 1998 Toyota collided with a trailer carrying a stone pizza over within the 2210 block of Sunset Boulevard shortly after 9 p.m.

The impact caused the trailer to strike a nearby pedestrian who was launched nearly 20 feet from the crash site. The collision also pushed the trailer into the rear of the van hauling it, causing the van to collide with the rear of a Hyundai Elantra.
The driver responsible for the accident as well as the pedestrian were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition. No information with regard to their conditions is available at this time.
