LOS ANGELES, CA – CBS Los Angeles reports that a motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after being struck by a Blue Line train in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
According to Los Angeles Fire Department Official Margaret Stewart, the collision occurred south of downtown at 427 East Adams Blvd around 9 p.m.

Sgt. M. Nguyen of the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Bureau said authorities were still investigating the accident, but believed the motorcycle ran into the train.
The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Stewart said both the roadway and the track were shut down while authorities investigated.
