FRESNO, CA – Authorities say a pedestrian was hospitalized following a collision with a vehicle in central Fresno on Friday morning.
According to ABC 30, the crash occurred at the intersection of North Cedar Avenue and East Bellaire Way around 12:30 a.m.

The preliminary report stated a man in his early 60s was hit by a car being driven by a security guard. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The victim suffered critical injuries and was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center.
The Fresno Police Department’s reconstruction team responded to the scene to collect evidence; the vehicle has video that may help authorities determine a cause for the crash.
