The victim was riding the motorcycle on Dillon when for reasons yet to be established, she collided with an unidentified vehicle in the 74700 block. The circumstances surrounding the accident are still unclear, but the CHP confirmed in a press statement that the woman suffered critical injuries in the traffic collision.
First responders pronounced Keith deceased at the scene at precisely 4:24 p.m., the reports confirmed. The RCCO said she died of blunt force trauma injuries sustained in an accident. Officers failed to ascertain whether the victim was traveling alone in the motorcycle, or if a passenger was involved. No information about the other vehicle or its occupants is available at this time.
The cause and liability of the traffic wreck remain under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
