One person died, and another survived a two-vehicle collision on Interstate 355 in the DuPage County area of Illinois on Tuesday night, June 23rd. The Illinois State Police said in a press release that they have not identified the fatal victim and disclosed the name of the survivor as Andrian Terletsky, 34, of Chicago.
The crash occurred precisely north of Army Trail Road. The car accident report showed that the unidentified victim was driving a black 2004 BMW when Terletsky’s 2013 Audi 8 struck him from behind at about 8:38 p.m. near the cash toll lanes.

The collision’s impact caused the BMW to catch fire, leaving the driver with life-threatening injuries that claimed his life. The police said the medics took Terletsky to a hospital to treat severe injuries, and there’s no update on his condition.
The accident led to the closure of the northbound cash toll lanes of the interstate around 9 p.m. The ISP reopened the lanes around 2:55 a.m. after concluding its preliminary investigation and clearing the scene.
