The woman encountered a Toyota Prius and a Ford Mustang that just collided on the roadway and swerved to avoid hitting them. The act caused Lozano’s vehicle to roll at least twice, and the woman who was not wearing a seatbelt was ejected from the Tahoe.
The deceased landed on the roadway and sustained severe wounds that she succumbed to at the scene. The authorities pronounced her dead. Lozano’s 14-year-old daughter, who was a passenger in the wrecked car, sustained minor injuries.
The CHP said that none of the drivers involved in the collision the deceased tried to avoid were uninjured. There is no additional information at this time.
Facts gathered from accident reports show that crashes leave people in a confused and dazed state. At other times, it induces fear, which causes most drivers to flee the scene of an accident. Traffic authorities advise motorists to remain at the scene of the accident and cooperate with the police.
Drivers should maintain a calm demeanor, and attend to anyone injured. Call 911 and wait for first responders to get to the scene. Stay as long as required, and leave behind valid and accurate contact details.
