The police booked Bojarski into the Churchill County Jail, and his bail bond is set at $100 000. The police began investigating the man after he killed a man in a pedestrian accident. The latter occurred at the corner of Williams Avenue and Carson Street near City Hall.
The preliminary accident report showed that at about 7 p.m., on February 15th, Bojarski, while driving his vehicle, struck a woman. The deceased, identified as Theila “Teddy,” Berry was hit as she crossed the intersection.
The report stated at the time that the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police. The Churchill County District Attorney’s Office issued the arrest warrant against Bojarski and its handling of the case against him.
In Nevada, a DUI charge covers driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. For the former, the BAC should not get to or exceed .08%. DUI carries significant penalties like driver’s license suspension and time in jail. A person accused of the offense should contact a top accident lawyer for legal representation.
