BAKERSFIELD, CA – Bakersfield police say a driver was arrested after a suspected DUI collision left a pedestrian with critical injuries on Wednesday night.
According to KGET, the crash occurred shortly after 8 p.m. on the 2600 block of White Lane.

When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian suffering from life-threatening injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Investigators established that the driver of the colliding vehicle was under the influence. They were arrested for DUI and taken to Kern County Jail.
