On Monday morning, August 31st, a motorcycle rider suffered injuries after an auto-motorcycle accident in Fresno County, California. The California Highway Patrol identified the victim as Leonard Matsuyama, a 68-year-old resident of Fresno.
The accident report showed that the incident occurred around 5:40 a.m. along Jensen Avenue on Brawley Avenue. The events leading to it began with Matsuyama riding a 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycle west of Jensen Avenue.

A pickup truck slammed into the rear of the motorcycle. The CHP said that the car dragged Matsuyama about 100 and 200 feet. When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the man lying on the roadway with significant injuries.
They rushed the victim to Community Regional Medical Center in Fresno for treatment. The vehicle driver left the scene without rendering help to the man, making the occurrence a hit-and-run.
The highway patrol described the suspect’s vehicle as an early 1990s or early 2000 Ford F-150. There is no information on the driver’s identity, and the investigators are trying to locate the person. Anyone with relevant information should contact them on the listed line.
