The policeman said the events that led to the collision began with an unidentified female driver who appears to be in her 30s. The woman was heading north on Olive Street when she allegedly failed to heed a stop sign at the intersection that connects the road to Century Boulevard.
The driver ended up crashing into two vehicles, with Tumbling driving one of the cars she struck. The victim’s vehicle on impact veered off the roadway and slammed into a traffic light pole. The force of the crash caused the deceased to get ejected from the car.
Tumbling landed on the roadway and sustained severe wounds, which she died from at the scene. The unnamed driver who caused the crash was trapped in her vehicle, and firefighters had to extricate her. She suffered undisclosed injuries, and the medics took her to the hospital.
The authorities determined that the driver was driving under the influence. The woman is facing a charge on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter, hence the need for a drunk driving attorney. The police did not release information on the driver of the second car, and the investigation remains active.
