Single-vehicle accidents are one of the causes of crash-related deaths in California and the United States. The reasons range from the negligence of drivers to unforeseen circumstances on the roadway. The two covers drunk driving, over speeding, distracted driving, adverse weather or road conditions, and animal sighting.
Law enforcement and traffic agencies advise drivers to exercise care and caution while on the road for their safety and that of other road users. Motorists should obey traffic rules and regulations, drive within the speed limit, and avoid drinking and driving.
