The kicker for the New York Giants, Aldrick Rosas, 25, would need a top accident lawyer following his arrest by the police for leaving the scene of an accident in Chico, California. In a press release, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office said they took the NFL star into custody on Monday, June 15th.
The accident report disclosed that the suspect T-boned another vehicle at an intersection after failing to stop at a red light. Witnesses told the police that they saw Rosas driving erratically at 100 miles per hour before falling asleep at the red light. He went through the intersection and drove into the side of a pickup truck.

The suspect did not stop at the scene to examine the damage caused, and his black Chevrolet SUV broke down a short distance from the collision scene. The sheriff’s office said that the man then alighted from the vehicle and fled on foot.
Officers found Rosas a short while after with blood on his legs, feet, and hands. The police confirmed from the suspect that the SUV belonged to him, and arrested him after the medics examined his wounds. The BCSO believes the man was driving under the influence of alcohol, but have not confirmed it.
The Giants’ star faces charges of hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license, and the police remanded him in the Butte County Jail. There is no information about his bond. The Giants issued a statement regarding his arrest, stating they are aware of their kicker’s situation but have no further comment.
