A preliminary investigation into the accident revealed that the traffic light turned green for the westbound lanes, and Bowen drove into the intersection where the front of the truck came into contact with Suh and knocked him further into the intersection.
Medical personnel with Metro Ambulance Services were able to get to Suh and transport him to WellStar Kennestone Hospital. It was after arriving at the hospital that he died from the injuries that he sustained in the accident.
Bowen and his passenger, Jackson, were not injured in the accident. There have not been any charges or citations filed in conjunction with the accident at this time.
The Selective Traffic Enforcement Program Unit is responsible for investigating all traffic accidents that result in a fatality.
