A drunk driving attorney’s services would be useful for a man arrested for crashing his vehicle in East County, California, while driving under the influence. The police took Justin Strawder, 21, into custody for the Monday, May 11th, accident.
The preliminary accident report by the authorities showed that the traffic collision occurred on Interstate 8 Freeway at about 7:30 a.m. Strawder was driving a Subaru WRX west on the interstate at top speed. When the young man approached Golden Acorn Casino, it crashed into the back of a big rig.

When the first responders arrived at the scene, they found the car resting on the eastbound side of the freeway. A passenger in the Subaru, identified as an 18-year-old female sustained significant injuries, and the medics rushed her to Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego for treatment.
The authorities determined that Strawder was driving under the influence. They allowed the suspect to receive treatment for his wounds, and afterwards, they booked him into the county jail on suspicion of DUI. There is no information on the terms of his bail.
There is also no update on the condition of the injured passenger. The investigation into the accident remains active.
DUI-induced accidents are not uncommon in California, and can easily turn fatal. When the latter occurs, the offense goes from a suspicion of DUI charge to vehicular manslaughter. The courts would then consider the acts of the driver before or after in determining the punishment to award.
Those arrested on DUI-related charges should contact a drunk driving attorney to represent their interests.
