The unidentified driver was driving a 2008 Mercedes Benz CL550 eastbound on 60 Freeway when for unknown reasons, he lost control of the car. The act caused the man to hit a 2017 BMW motorcycle, driven by Moors.
The motorcyclist landed on the active traffic lanes and was hit for the second time by a 2019 Kia Sportage driven by a 37-year-old unnamed Lynwood woman. Moors passed away at the scene, and the medics pronounced him dead.
The CHP does not believe drugs, alcohol, or a combination of both played a role in the accident. They did not state if the drivers that struck the deceased remained at the scene and cooperated with them. The investigation is ongoing, and there’s no additional information at this time.
