Two men were killed in a collision between an SUV and a box truck near the Chicago Executive Airport. The crash caused the vehicles to enter onto the airport grounds. Jose Urbano, 39, of Prospect Heights was identified as one of the two deceased persons. The incident occurred early on the morning of Wednesday, September 30.
According to the details available so far, the fatal crash took place at the intersection of the Messner Drive and Wolf Road. Urbano was the driver of the SUV which collided with the box truck. The impact of the collision brought the vehicles into airport perimeter.

The box truck had two occupants in it at the time. The driver of the truck was identified as Araujo Rivaldi, 21, of Prospect Heights. David A. Sosa of Chicago was the passenger in the crash.
Following the collision, Jose Urbano suffered critical injuries. He died from his injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene. Sosa was ejected from the box truck in the collision. He also died from the severe injuries incurred in the crash.
Rivaldi incurred serious injuries in the accident. Once the first responders and paramedics reached the site, he was transported to the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
The truck involved in the collision was a commercial vehicle belonging to the company Vivint Solar. Preliminary investigations revealed that the crash may have caused by the negligence of the box truck driver who possibly failed to stop at a red light. However, later accident reports may confirm if this was the cause of the tragic incident.
