Motor vehicle accidents are one of the leading causes of death in Illinois and the United States. Several factors contribute to vehicle collisions, and they include but are not limited to speeding, impairment of drugs or alcohol, distractions, and running red lights or stop signs.
Accidents are preventable if drivers desist from negligent behaviors while on the road and make safety a priority. Frequently maintain the vehicle, and avoid driving when tired or sleepy.
