CHP Officer Matt Napier said that the deceased was riding with a group of friends on his dirt bike, before it overturned and ejected him. The man landed on the unpaved roadway, sustaining injuries that claimed his life at the scene.
The authorities had to use a helicopter to lift Jardin’s body from the accident site due to the area’s rough terrain. They transported him to French Valley Airport in Murrieta, where the Riverside County Coroner officials took custody of his body.
The CHP did not state if the investigation into the accident is ongoing. The accident reports also showed that there is no additional information at this time.
A motorcycle crash is one of the fatal forms of accidents. The state of California Department of Motor Vehicles advises riders to wear the right gear when riding to increase their chances of survival, reduce the death rate, and mitigate severe bodily and life-altering wounds.
