The services of auto accident attorneys would be useful to a man arrested for crashing his car into a theater in Spokane, Washington. The Spokane Police Department took Jesse Johnson, 32, into custody after the Tuesday, May 19th, accident.
The preliminary accident report showed that the man was speeding through the city moments before he crashed into Fox Theater near Sprague Avenue and Monroe. Multiple witnesses called the police about Johnson’s speed before the crash and after — when he fled from the scene.

The witnesses told investigators that the suspect was traveling between 60 and 70 miles per hour, and running red lights. Before hitting the theater, Johnson crashed into a solar-powered garbage can that will cost about $7,000 to repair.
Police caught the man before he could escape and called in a drug recognition expert to determine if he was under the influence of any narcotic substance. The officers then took the suspect to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.
They did not release the charges against the man, and an investigation is ongoing for the laws he broke during the crash and for possible impairment. The authorities also placed Johnson under arrest for a Governor’s Warrant issued in the state on Thursday, April 16th.
The warrant is related to an investigation in Maricopa County, California, for burglary and gold theft. Asides from the two, the suspect had a gun-related incident with SPD in 2012 near Mission and Napa, which left him with a gunshot wound.
Those involved in speed-related car crashes should contact auto accident attorneys for legal advice and representation.
