An accident report recorded on Wednesday, May 13th, in Riverside, California, revealed the death of a man who died after a car struck him while jogging. The authorities disclosed his identity as Robert Stockton, 64, a resident of the city.
Riverside Police Spokesman Officer Ryan Railsback said in a press release that the deceased was jogging on the westbound Victoria Avenue, between Horace Street and Lincoln Avenue. At about 10:55 a.m., a female driver of a 2014 Dodge minivan struck him from behind.

The driver, identified as a 65-year-old Riverside woman, stopped the car and dialed 911. The Riverside Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene within minutes and found Stockton dead. There was nothing they could do for the man, and they pronounced him dead.
Railsback added that alcohol, drugs, or both do not appear to factor in the accident. The female driver has not received any citations at this time, and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with helpful information should contact the RPD traffic detectives.
