The Pontiac spun in front of a 2015 Volvo semi driven by 53-year-old Enrique Dejesus of Miami, Florida. The male motorist could not avoid the smaller car and struck it on the driver’s side. The semi pushed the vehicle across the median, where they both rested.
The Clark County Coroner pronounced Jines dead at the scene. Dejesus did not suffer any injury. The ISP said they closed down the affected roadway for about four hours while they investigated and cleared the scene. There is no additional information.
When it comes to preventing road accidents, drivers must exit and merge lanes carefully. Never attempt exiting and merging at top speed and ensure that the road is clear before doing so. Do the same for turning on highways; turn only at the designated lane, which is left for most roadways, and obey the turn and exit signs to prevent adverse legal consequences.
