Both male suspects drove off in a white pickup truck. After a short chase and an unsuccessful attempt to end the pursuit, the suspects entered the wrong way traffic on the freeway. They entered the off-ramp at McCarran Boulevard.

Once on the freeway, they ran head-on into a Jeep Patriot. The driver of the Patriot was 30-year-old Jacob Edwards of Sparks. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to the injuries he sustained in the collision.

The male robbery suspects were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. They were then arrested and taken into custody. At the time of the original story, the names of the suspects were not released.

Updated information has provided the name of one male suspect. 34-year-old Ryan Williams is being charged with open murder, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

The female that was arrested in connection to the robbery had stayed on the scene at the initial police call. She has been identified as 30-year-old Adrianna Norman. She is also being charged with open murder and armed robbery.

The name of the second male suspect was not released. He is not being charged with any crimes due to information that has been gathered by the investigation.

It has not been released if Williams and Norman will be eligible for bail.
