The motorist was heading east on FM 917, and Nixon driving a Nissan Quest SUV was on the westbound lane. The investigators said that for elusive reasons, Boydston’s pickup veered into the west road and crashed head-on with the deceased’s vehicle.
The impact of the collision left Nixon with significant wounds that he succumbed to at the accident site, and the medic pronounced him dead. The female driver suffered severe injuries, and a land ambulance conveyed her to John Peter Smith Hospital for treatment.
The TDPS has not released additional information on the woman’s condition. The investigation remains active, and they will release more details after their inquiry.
Several reports of car accidents show that two-vehicle collisions occur due to the carelessness of drivers and disobedience to traffic rules. Traffic authorities advise drivers to desist from the two, obey the road’s laws, and practice safe road behaviors.
