Traffic collisions involving a motorcycle have seen a spike in the last decade. This alarming increase has ultimately led to an increased fatality. While the majority of these accidents involve solo crashes or collisions with stationary objects, a good percentage results from collisions with other vehicles.
Sadly, motorcycle riders are not protected like car occupants, and hence, are at a higher risk of becoming maimed during a crash. Therefore, bikers should strive to take extra precautions, especially in high-risk areas like when making a U-turn, crossing intersections, changing lanes, or bypassing other vehicles.
